Bio

Mikaila Cordeau is a recent graduate with a Bachelors of Arts in Public Relations from the Klein College of Media and Communication at Temple University in Philadelphia.

Mikaila recently concluded an internship with Flackable, a niche public relations firm that serves financial institutions. In this position, she helped manage client accounts and engaged in the media relations process. She assisted in client placements in Forbes, Business Insider and Bloomsburg. During her internship, Flackable was recognized on PR News’ Top 100 Agency Elite list for 2020. 

In the winter of 2016, Mikaila worked with Distinctive Living Publications as a digital marketing intern. Mikaila increased traffic to the company's online publication Home and Garden Design Ideas through social media strategy. She also managed their social media, including its Facebook page where she increased traffic by 200% through Facebook analytics and content creation. Due to her successes, she was asked to stay an additional semester.

Mikaila served on the executive board for Temple Public Relations Student Society of America (PRSSA), as the Director of Social Media. She worked with an executive board of sixteen members and oversaw a committee of thirteen general body members. She was responsible for initiating online campaigns, monitoring social media engagement and facilitating all internal chapter communications.

In her free time, she enjoys travel; she has been to Indonesia as a Student U.S. Ambassador and backpacked Europe. Her passions include advocacy and community engagement. 

Mikaila currently resides in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
